Back to school craft tutorials

Hi everyone! New post for a new swap I hosted:

<span class=

"So, vacations are over and it's time to go back to school/work. How sad, isn't it? D: I thought to make this period a little more fun concentrating on its creative side!
For this swap you'll chose at least 7 crafty projects for your partners and you'll send them an e.mail (a blog post is fine too) with the tutorials to realize them! The theme is obviously school (and/or office) so think about pretty stationery (pens, pencils, notebooks, planners), lunch bags, pencil cases and whatever pops in your mind!..."

These are the tutorials I chose. As usual I hope they'll be either usefull or inspiring! Enjoy :D

1- the Glamazon Pen (I made one too: http://rock-n-roll-stops-the-traffic.blogspot.com/2011/04/feather-pen.html), Toadstool Pencils and Pretty Pencils.

New hobby and new pins

Well, mum is very busy with work lately and she enthrusted me the cooking duty.
After the first few days, cooking the same stuff, I decided to upgrade a bit! I began to check cooking sites for ideas and recipes and since now I tried a fair number of new, different recipes.
I'm quite proud of my work, even if it's not too elaborated stuff I like making it (and eating it most of all!). I found it unbelievably relaxing. Mixing the ingredients, sniffing all the nice smells, listening to the pots' bubbling.. this winter I bet I'll enjoy the warmth of the kitchen too (now it's still too hot to appreciate it).
Since I like asian cooking I made myself some maki!

They're vegetarian, I put inside carrots, cucumbers and an omelette! Yummy!
I also made some yakisoba! I forgot to take a picture though, they're very tasty I think I'll cook them again very soon!

Few days ago I proposed to a fiend to go to the park to make a little pic nic.. with a twist!! Since she likes asain food as much as I do I asked her if it was ok to eat instant ramen and buy some ravioli to the chinese take away nearby. She accepted gladly the idea so we did it!!
These are our location and our lunch!

The same day I had the first volley training of the year.. ravioli and jumping don't go along very well, believe me! I survived though and it was worth it after all.

Last thing I'd like to share my recent pins on pinterest. I found so much inspiring stuff I can't help but make pins on pins. I need to go back to crafting soon!

Swaps and a new awesome friend!

Who says swapping is a useless hobby?
I joined a swap called "Not Quite Normal Penpals Returns":

Swap-bot swap: Not Quite Normal Penpals Returns

"Ever get a penpal letter and wonder if your pal grew up in a convent? Do the usual, "Hi, my name is Dorothy, I have a cute puppy and live with my dear old granny." letters bore you to death? (Or are you worried you'll scare your buddy away in two letters or less?)
Then this is the penpal swap for you, my creepy little friend.
Basically, you will write to one partner a basic introduction letter with one simple twist- in this letter, you will introduce your "bad" side."

I send my letter and I made a new friend!! When I came back home after the holidays I found the reply in my mail box. It's unbelievable how many things I have in common with this girl xD . Still have to reply but I'm going to do it soon!!

Mine and hers!

And! This is another nice swap I took part in:

Chinese/Japanese Themed Swap *INTERNATIONAL*

"HI & welcome to my swap! In this swap please send a small package of items to an average monetary value of £4 ($6.6 or 4.6 euros) of Chinese and/or Japanese themed items. Let your imagination run wild and make it nice for your partner."

Pins of the week

Damn I'd never thought that pinterest'd be so useful! I pin and pin all the pretty stuff I like and then I can see all there in the same page, it's inspiring :D And for a very unorganized person it's heaven xD

I finally managed to get hold of the kitchen again and I tried few recipes this week (click each pic to get the recipe):

1) Casareccie with pesto alla siciliana; 2) chocolate sugar cookies! I changed the cookies' recipe a bit but they're so yummy T^T; 3) chocolate dipped krispie treat (I didn't like this one that much, thery're too sweet and I thought they'd be a lot more crunchy.. oh well)

4) almond chicken (very tasty!!) 5) and some sangria! Soooo good!!

Pretty satisfied with the result, I'm going to try more stuff soon!
I also found two awesome things while shopping last friday: a necklace and a brooch. I practically felt in love with the little robot *__*

I'm going to the sea on Wednesday, I really can't wait to go for a swim and then, the 16th there is the live!!! Yay, I'm so excited *spazzes*

But I'm not here to complain, I just want to share my latest creations :D

I finally finished every pieces of a commission a friend made:

The latest he asked were Torakiki (I dyed some white felt myself, using this tutorial, cause I'd not find the beige one, it turned out good!) and the red angry bird:

And! I made this luggage tag for a friend who's in Korea right now:

What do you think? :D
