Hey everyone! I've had a lot to do this days since vacation are finally approaching.. but I managed to dedicate some time to do a bit of crafting.

Monday, nasty monday

I officially hate mondays!
After a wonderful week end, spent with my loved one reading, playing the bass, skating (we went skating, it was sooo cool!!! 8D ) and eating with friends (Alice.. ahehm.. XD ) we had the wonderful news of a temporary business transfer >_>
He'll be gone, next month, after Easter holidays, just for a couple of weeks, but still D: Hopefully in the same period I'll be away too, since my grandma wanted a helper for a little cruise she'll go on with her sister. Now I'm glad I accepted to keep her company..
Anyway.. I'm not here to complain, it's just that the news put me in a bad mood and I decided to finally began a project I'm procastinating since weeks.. just to raise my spirits.

So, I bought this bag for 5€ at the market.

I love it cause it reminds me of those Japanese school bags that I like soo much. BUT! I can't go aroung carrying a bag with Betty Boop dressed as Wonder woman (WTF!! XD ), so I bought some black spray paint..

..and covered the drawing. Now my problem is: what should I do with this awesome black canvas??
I was thinking about spray painting a quote (something nerdy) with a stencil in a neon colour, or maybe I'd make a drawing.. argh, I don't know!! Help, anyone??

Also I need some kawaii-food patterned paper to complete my recipe binder. Does anyone know some nice online shops where I'd find it? Google doesn't help me here XD

Pins of the week

Damn I'd never thought that pinterest'd be so useful! I pin and pin all the pretty stuff I like and then I can see all there in the same page, it's inspiring :D And for a very unorganized person it's heaven xD

I finally managed to get hold of the kitchen again and I tried few recipes this week (click each pic to get the recipe):

1) Casareccie with pesto alla siciliana; 2) chocolate sugar cookies! I changed the cookies' recipe a bit but they're so yummy T^T; 3) chocolate dipped krispie treat (I didn't like this one that much, thery're too sweet and I thought they'd be a lot more crunchy.. oh well)

4) almond chicken (very tasty!!) 5) and some sangria! Soooo good!!

Pretty satisfied with the result, I'm going to try more stuff soon!
I also found two awesome things while shopping last friday: a necklace and a brooch. I practically felt in love with the little robot *__*

I'm going to the sea on Wednesday, I really can't wait to go for a swim and then, the 16th there is the live!!! Yay, I'm so excited *spazzes*

Vacation!!

Finally I'm on vacation!! Yes!! 8D
This year has been so.. uhm.. unusual! I needed some rest.
I'm trying to organize my time in order not to wait it and arrive at the end of summer without doing what I wanted (I know it's going to happe anyway >_> )
Days ago I read this article about "Organizing project and inspiration using Pinterest" on Craftzine and I found it a very smart idea, so I requested an invitaion and started to pin all the project I've in mind. You can take a look at my boards clicking the button:



Since I've some free time I actually managed to make some decent shopping! Sales bagan just the week of my last exam, so I had hard times to force myself on the books and not go out, spending all my money. I did it this week end though xD

Aaah I saw this Fifi lapin t-shirt this spring and I'd not buy it cause it was too expensive, I'm so happy with it :D

Nights ago wondering on YouTube I made the best of the discoveries!! Oks, maybe I'm overreacting but for an asian freak like me it's such a nice thing *sighs dreamily*
I stumbled upon this chanel called "Cooking with dog"

A channel full of video recipes about how to make Japanes dishes. The more I watched the more I wanted to try every recipes *__* I'm waiting for a friend to go to the Chinese grocery shop to make some shopping. Last time I went I also got some stuff to make sushi (soy sauce, sushi mat and nori seaweed). I can't wait to try *is all ahppeh*

And, to conclude this long useles post, a little crafty update: I finished my pyjamas made from bad sheets. I also used it, it's comfy :D And I embroidered a little panda on the shirt *is very proud of it*

Pyjamas reconstruction - wardrobe renewal project #1

For the first reconstruction project of the year I chose an old pyjamas as victim.
I didn't wear it anymore cause it was uncomfortable: legs and sleeves too short and all, but it was too cool to throw it away D:

So I decided to join the legs and make a "skirt" and lengthen the sleeves with the scraps.

Can't wait to wear it >:D
